பூக்கும் மலரில் பொங்கும் தேனது !
ஆக்கும் சக்தி ! ஆத்மாவின் சிறகு !
அளவில் மிஞ்சின் அழிக்கும் சக்தி !
கவரும் சக்தி காந்தம் போல !
துருவம் இரண்டு ஆண்மை, பெண்மை !
ஆண்மை பாதி ! பெண்மை மீதி !
ஆண்பால் இன்றேல் பெண்பால் தேயும் !
பெண்பால் இன்றேல் ஆண்பால் மாயும் !
வயிறுக்கு உணவு ! உடலுக்கு உறவு !
ஈரினம் இணைந்து பூரணம் அடைவது
மனித நியதி ! மானிட வளர்ச்சி !
காமம் உடற்கு கவின்தர வல்லது !
மேனி மினுக்கும், மீன்விழி ஒளிர்க்கும்,
முகக்களை ஈர்க்கும், மூளை தளிர்க்கும்,
காமக் கதிர்ஒளி பூமழை பெய்தால் !
பைரன், பாரதி, ஷெல்லி, ஷேக்ஸ்பியர்
பாரதி தாசன், கண்ண தாசன்,
வள்ளுவர், வால்மிகி, வியாச முனிவர்
பாடகி மீரா, லதாமங் கேஷ்கர்,
ஆடகி மேனகை, மாதவி, ஊர்வசி,
வைஜயந்தி மாலா, கமலா, பத்மினி,
காளிதாஸ், கம்பன், கவிக்குயில் ஆண்டாள்,
காமக் கடலில் நீந்தாக் கலைஞர்
பூமியில் ஏது ? காம சுரப்பிகள்
கலைத்துவ வேர்,உரம், நீரும் ஆகும் !
காம மிகுதி கலைசெயத் தகுதி !
காம சக்தியைக் கட்டுப் படுத்தி,
காவியம் படைப்போர் காலனை வெல்பவர் !
ஓவியம் தீட்டுவோர் உயர்தனி மனிதர் !
நாடகம், நாட்டியம், மேடையில் படைப்போர்,
சிற்பம் செதுக்கும் அற்புதச் சிற்பி,
ஆய்வுகள் புரிவோர், அறிவியல் ஞானி !
நுண்கலை வடிப்போர் மண்புகழ் பெறுவர் !
வறுமையும் நோயும் சுரப்பியின் நஞ்சு !
காமம் மீறுதல் தீமையின் விதைகள் !
பாமர மூடன் காமச் சுரப்பியைக்
காலால் நசுக்கிக் கவினை அழிப்பான் !
காம சுரப்பிகள் காய்ந்து போனால்
அகஒளி மாயும் ! முகஎழில் தேயும் !
முதுமையின் கருநிழல் முழுஉடற் பாயும் !
காவியம், கலைகள், ஓவியம் ஏது ?
நுண்கலை யாவும் கண்களை மூடும் !
நடனம் ஏது ? நல்லிசை ஏது ?
முடமாய்ப் போகும் நடமிடும் ஆத்மா !

உண்மைக் கவிதை-கவிதையில் சத்தியம். இந்த உண்ம புரிந்துவிட்டால் சிக்கலே இல்லையே. இது புரியாததும், புரிந்து கொள்ள மறுப்பதும், புரிந்ததுபோல் நடிப்பதும் மேலும் இதை சந்தைப் பொருளாக்குவதுமே இன்றயப் பிரச்சனை.

I can say one thing about this poem. Only a person who knows and enjoys reading Tamil can understand the silky smoothness of this masterpiece. Like Kannadasan, Jeyabarathan’s verses flow like a stream.
I really enjoyed reading and re-reading these lines again and again just to feel the smoothness and depth. I am amazed to find that an astro-physicist like Mr. Jeyabarathan found time to pen the poem in his native tongue Tamil. As a Tamizhan I congratulate thiru. Jeyabarathan.

i couldn;t agree a lot more with the school thesis statement! also, blogs which are written enjoy a rocket research blueprint can flip audience away fast. They may standing for certain keywords and phrases, but in the lengthy run no one should read it!
